I'm back from Iraq, where I was working as a civilian contractor in support of our troops.

> When I say "I support our troops", I really mean it!!!

Welcome to the Get-Em-Flyin website.

> My goal is to provide a free support site for those building, rebuilding or restoring an aircraft project which no longer has company support.
This site will be available for help with details, but is not for downloading of complete plan sets. Let's not pirate plans. Someone spent their time and money to develop a design and it wouldn't be right to offer their work free. Any complete plan sets that I acquire will be held in strict confidence and only those parts needed for assistance will be released.

I can scan your plans, photos, manuals to CD ROM in the format of your choice. I recommend .pdf for documents (Openable with the free Adobe Acrobat reader) and .jpg for large graphics. (Openable by any graphics program or internet browser)

This service is not for pirating of plans. The CDs are not to be copied nor resold. This is an archiving service for the owner of a set of plans to have a backup of their paper plans. There is no charge for this service if getemflyin.4t.com is allowed to add a copy of the plans to our archive.

Links and a listing of those items I have available for use will be found at the bottom of the page as they are added.

I am adding plan sets as I can get them. If you need help with a part of a project, contact me and I'll see if I can help or at least refer you to someone who can.

If you are working on a project, you are welcome to link to this site so that others can see your progress.

If you are thinking about starting a company to market your plans, I will be more than happy to have you link to this site and even offer it as a support site for your designs.

This is a work in progress. If you have any old plans, (complete or partial) kit or manufacturer updates, or even promotional/specification materials laying around, they might help someone to finish a project.

This site is not limited to airplanes. If it flys and carries people, I'll put it here. Helicopters, Gyrocopters, Airplanes, Hovercraft, and any new technologies that don't fall into the other categories. (Antigravity cars, space shuttles, etc. please have a working prototype.)

Any items that you might have that can be scanned and added to the site are welcome, but I must institute a few rules:
*1. If there is company support available, please use their support. It is most likely much better than can be supplied by any third party site.
*2. The plans should be for a proven design, meaning at least one flying aircraft was constructed from plans.
*3. I will accept plans and post support for a personal design, but unless it has been proven to be flightworthy, I reserve the right to add a disclaimer stating that the plans have not been flight proven and should be used with extreme caution. (Let's not get anyone hurt!) This might be a good forum for getting a personal design looked at by experienced builders or even finding someone to build a prototype for those without the time or money to do it themselves.
I have a pet project for which I would welcome any help. I have done a basic set of artist's renditions of a 4 place gyrocopter that I want to build some day. I am looking at 150-200 MPH cruise with retractable landing gear. Possibly mazda rotary engine powered. Looks good in the renditions, but I haven't found the time to work on frame, balance, etc.

I will pay postage for any items and return them undamaged after scanning. The scanning usually takes no more than a few days. (I have to work, so can't devote as much time as I would like to this project.) I can use my graphics talents to make any damaged or dirty plans more usable.

> email me with questions or to arrange for me to add your plans to the data files.
